2007 COSGC Undergraduate Research Symposium April 21st, 2007

     

 

This year's Symposium is themed after Tomorrow's Exploration.  Many of the papers are focused on research and thought which will enable us to return to the Moon and explore new frontiers.  The Symposiums Keynote speaker is also very involved with the the effort to take humans back to the Moon and Mars.

 

Welcome

The Colorado Space Grant Symposium is an opportunity for students to present their current research and ideas in the Space Industry.  This is a paper and presentation competition and will allow students to be published in an official conference proceedings as well as compete for cash prizes.  Students will also be able to compete for prizes in a poster and demonstration session.

Your paper will be published in an official NASA proceedings! All your future employers will be impressed!

 

Post Symposium Update (April 30th, 2007)

Thanks again to all Presentation Judges for your help on Saturday.  It was great to have student interaction with industry and academia. Thanks to our Award Sponsors and to those companies and individuals who helped to review student papers and presentations.  We greatly appreciate you help and support.  Pictures and proceedings can be found on the Papers pages.

Thanks again to students who presented their research.  I've received a great amount of positive feedback stating helped to make the Symposium a success.

 


 
The Symposium will be Thursday April 21st, 2007 at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Demonstration Session

After the conclusion of the paper sessions, there will be a 30 minute informal Demo Session for students to interact with the Judges (from Industry and Academia) and show off any hardware or further information regarding their current work or research.  Demonstrations don't have to be directly related to the paper but should be space related. Please contact Brian.Sanders@colorado.edu if you are interested.
