The RockOn Work shop was held at Wallops Island VA June 21-26, 2009.

RockOn! is a new hands-on workshop where participants learn to build a small rocket payload and launch it on a sounding rocket at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility.

In addition to the workshop payloads, 10 universities flew payloads on the same flight as part of the RockSat program, which is the next step in low cost student access to space! The RockSat program allows the previous year's workshop participants to apply their newly acquired knowledge to design, build, and fly a sonding rocket payload in less than one year's time. For more information, please visit the RockSat webpage!
