To-Go Kits!!!!

 Each kit contains all the supplies needed to facilitate the activity for up to 30 students. Also included is a CD with PowerPoint slides and Word documents of all handouts and supplement documentation. The kits are designed to be used multiple times with different groups. 

There are three kit topics:

Operation Communication – Explores radio waves, and how satellites send and receive information.

Pop Rockets (Spanish resources included) – Explores Newton’s third law, and gives students the chance to exercise their knowledge of the scientific method via rocket fuel (antacid tablets and water) experiments.

Navigation Extravaganza –

·        Trilateration – Teaches students how GPS satellites use trilateration to locate where they are.

·        GeoCache – Takes students on an adventure that teaches them how to use a GPS receiver.
