RockSat-X 2013

Registration and Security Clearance 

June 18 - 24*, 2013

July 24 - 30*, 2013

June participants must register by May 10th, 2013
August participants must register by June 12th, 2013
Participants attending both weeks, may register for both at the same time.


As part of your Launch Fee for RockSat-X 2013, each participating school/team will be provided 4 all-access passes during the June environmental and checkout tests at Wallops. These passes include meals, t-shirt, and RockOn/RockSat-C launch access. Schools also have 4 all-access passes during the July checkout and launch. These passes include some meals, t-shirt (unless given at June week), and RockSat-X VIP launch access. Schools can send additional participants to the integration and launch for free. If food and t-shirts are desired for these additional participants, there will be an extra charge ($ per person ~$200). EACH school must register ALL participants by May 10th, 2013 (for June trip) and June 12th, 2013 (for July trip) for security reasons and to determine amount of food needed. Please complete registration form below. You will receive additional details along with your security paperwork within 3 days of registering. We are using the Refuge Inn as our home base for all operations related to RockSat-X in June. We encourage all RockSat-X participants to use the Refuge Inn for lodging. Reservations at the Refuge Inn must be made by May 13th, 2013. For more details on the hotel, please click here. Hotel location for July trip TBD. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE A U.S. PERSON.

 

* RockOn/RockSat-C Launch day is scheduled for June 20th, 2013 but the back-up date is June 21st, 2013. Please plan accordingly.

** RockSat-X Launch day is scheduled for July 30th, 2013 but the back-up date is July 31st, 2013. Please plan accordingly.
